Death in the Atlantic: The Last Four Minutes of Air France Flight 447

Really interesting article from Spiegel on the reasons behind last year’s crash of Air France flight 447.  Since the mechanical failure leading to the crash seems to be one that could easily reoccur, the most relevant quote for anyone who flies is probably: “Many frequent flyers have since opted for daytime flights across the Atlantic because pilots can recognize storm fronts more easily during the day.”

    Can’t wait for more Glee

Glee‘s Jayma Mays, as mysophobic Emma Pillsbury, has nailed every blush, sigh, and wide-eyed look of the hopelessly besotted. She manages to be completely charming playing a character that in the wrong hands would have quickly become cloying. Her cast mate, Jane Lynch, is also excellent playing the ferocious Sue Sylvester. Love, love, LOVE her.

Can’t wait till this show starts up again in April.

Looking for a good web designer?

I am sure this company will be able to come up with something simple, elegant and modern.

I found that link on Clients From Hell. They have a some real gems on their site, like:

Can you add a menu to the beginning of this VHS tape? You know, like a DVD so we can skip forward.

PS. I was able to bring myself to push the previous post down the page by plastering his face on my desktop :P

From hundreds of photos, down to four

I had some fun this morning taking way too many photos. Most of them were crap, partly because the little one just won’t sit still! Even so, there are a few that turned out well. And really, what else could you expect with models this cute?!

UPDATE: I posted a link to an article on learning to be lucky, but had to delete it because I didn’t want this cute face to get pushed down the page. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to bring myself to add a new post.

    Found on Facebook

Events beyond my control forced me to log on to Facebook again, and for once, I was glad I did. Here’s what I found. They’re not very big or very clear, but that’s me during my high school years and one photo of university. Happy viewing. And Alex, if you want it, I have the yearbook page with your photo. Or perhaps you would rather I made it disappear ;)
