    Am I bovered?

    Dressed for the revolution

One of my favorite films is the Maysles’ documentary, Grey Gardens, which allows us a glimpse into the lives of eccentric mother and daughter “Big Edie” and “Little Edie” Beale, aunt and cousin of Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Now their story has been made into a movie and here is the first trailer!

In case you haven’t seen the original documentary, here is a clip of Little Edie discussing one of her famous costumes. In another part of the film, Little Edie refers to her style of dress as revolutionary, I think in specific reference to wearing a sweater on her head with a big brooch on it. For the first few months of Ben’s life, we were always joking about trying to come up with revolutionary outfits for him.

    Aren’t my dvds pretty?

    where the hell is Matt?

    Colorful crates

Crates on sale at a shop nearby. I would buy these for Ben’s room if a) Ben’s room was bigger than a closet, and b) they didn’t cost CHF47 each.
