Near the top of my list of things that need to be rereleased on DVD is Motown Returns to the Apollo. My dad and I watched this a countless number of times when I was a little girl. I remember when Luther Vandross sang with Boy George, my dad would always shake his head in pity for the poor white boy who had wandered on stage in a dress and couldn’t even sing.

Genius. Brilliant, smile inducing genius. Made me a bit weepy as well cause I’m the weepy type.

It’s weird what you find sometimes. .Mac transitioned to MobileMe today and somehow dredged up some strange pervious version of my iDisk. In it I found some of the files from the first incarnation of my website, back in the old skool days of hand-coding. I was pretty sure I had archived this somewhere, but I can’t find it, so finding this was a nice end to an otherwise shitty week.
