Neal Stephenson interview

On a related note, I have been reading The System of the World over the past few weeks. Like many others, I had a bit of difficulty getting through the first part of volume 1. But then the story picked up and I raced through the next book and a half. Book 3 starts with Daniel Waterhouse again and I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to read about Jack. But Daniel has gotten more interesting in his old age and I found myself enjoying his adventures, almost in spite of myself. I have to say though, when Jack made his first appearance I almost clapped with glee.
