Patrick forwarded this story to me and it is too good to pass up. It seems that Fox, a paragon of fair and balanced media, is giving safety tips to travellers. Anyone who believes that the U.S. media is not trying to inculcate a culture of fear in America needs to take a look at this story.
9/11 Hearings on ITMS
Apple has made 36 9/11 hearings available on its iTunes Music Store, free of charge. The hearings cover the initial staff statement from March 23, up through the FAA’s response, delivered June 17. If you don’t have iTunes, which is necessary to access the iTunes Music Store, you can get it here for either the Mac or PC.

Website for the Homeless
The US Department of Labor has come up with a way to respond to Bush’s proposed cuts in job training and housing programs. They have decided to set up a website for the homeless. If it weren’t so sad it would be funny. I wonder if they will also give each homeless person an iBook?
